This was the main goal – modernizing the game while at the same time not changing its core elements. When you first load up the game with this pack installed, you’ll immediately notice the stunning visuals and high-quality textures that still manage to retain Minecraft’s unique features.
Don’t worry though, the Flows HD resource pack is still being regularly updated for the newest Minecraft versions. Naming out all of the contributors would take a while, so we’ll leave it here. Eisregen and Lukolaz provided some updates and later Exevium polished the textures for quite some time, after which they also retired from the pack.
However, the earliest developer ArtFlo91 has since passed the development efforts to others. This was going to be the foundation for all of the upcoming versions of the pack. The journey of the original Flows HD begins all the way back in 2012, around the time when Minecraft version 1.2.5 was released. The game-changing textures that it offers are a result of years of work that all led up to its current state. Its uniqueness comes from the developer’s inspiration with numerous resource packs, which led him to combine their best elements and create this quite unique resource pack. A vibrant, lively appearance is the trademark of the Flows HD texture pack.
